Biana Kovic, cellist, educator, peak performance coach and a filmmaker, has been featured in the New York Times, on Good Morning America, Chappaqua Public Television, Wisconsin Cello Society Newsletter, The Riverdale Press, The Lubec Light, BangorNews, The Quoddy Tides, Machias Valley News Observer, Special Redio, The Downeast, Coastal Press, Musicafter50.com and Thirdage.com.

Ms. Kovic graduated from the University of Musical Arts, The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, the Hartt and Chicago Suzuki Institute, and the NLP Center of New York .

A winner of many awards, Biana has performed at New York City's Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Steinway Hall,Cami Hall, Zankel Hall, The Open Center, The Tibetan House and Avery Fisher Hall. Ms. Kovic was also invited to do her solo cello performance of
The National Anthem at Shea Stadium and Citi Fields in 2006, 2007, 2008,
2009 and again in 2010.

Ms. Kovic is a founder of It's Never 2 Late Inc. – Cello Studio
for Adults, located at West 54th Street and is a faculty
member of the Lucy Moses School and The Lawrence Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at the Queens College.

In her teaching, Mr. Kovic combines accelerated learning and energy efficient techniques to make learning fun and easy for people at any age and any stage of their lives. Her process-oriented method has resulted in many success stories and her students have been featured in various television and
in newspaper stories.

With FullMoon Productions, Ms. Kovic has produced 2 times award winning short documentary film “Virtuoso”,
featuring an 89 year old woman who begins to learn
to play the cello in five weeks. The film has been
shown at the Sunshine Cinema, NY; Opera Plaza Cinemas,
San Francisco, CA; Kendall Square Cinemas,
Cambridge, MA; as well as numerous senior centers
and film festivals.
